Welcome to the House of St. Nektarios, a lost relationship with God - reborn. Orthodox Christians know the problems that have (and are continuing o plague their evaporating synods. The are a lot of wonderful sites about the Orthodox faith and the relationship with God that you could have. However, there's one problem - were do you go when the Orthodox synods are the same as all other religions (under ecumenism) or falling apart with bishops and monks feuding over territory?
The problem with the church (today and historically) is that the choice of relationship desired with God is not that of Family but of servant - with the Patriarch as Prime Minister (the First Servant). Little remembered is that both office and ministry
is just a service to be performed. This means that the clergy (the clerks) of the church attend to these offices and ministries - as officers and ministers. Of which, the Prime Minister is chief (among servants) - but none-the-less a servant. All Christian churches (to date) have taken this position. Orthodoxy is not in faith of the Father - but God, Almighty and the Kingdom of Heaven (not the House of the Lord). This makes Churches the dominion of the Divine - with it's clerks and servants to rule over the citizens (lower/lesser servants) in attendance. As such, orthodoxy becomes the Pharisees of old - concerned with law and not the love of our Father. The history of the Pharisees has not been learned from - leaving the churches that follow this direction in ruins.
I am Dr. Daniel Carras and I am a member of the Family of God. I saw my house in trouble and have begun to take my responsibility for the house and make the repairs as needed. I have no intention to allow my house to become the rubble of the faithless orthodox houses. As such, I have taken - with my capacity as such - the main office (service) of my house - the House of St. Nektarios. Born into the Family of God, and grown in the house of St. Nektarios (in Toronto). I have seen the workings of our Father St. Nektarios in the House of the Lord, and I have seen the destructive storm clouds on the horizon. As such, I'm working on my House of St. Nektarios for myself and future generation wishing to be born into the Family of God and live in the Houses of the Family.
