Fundamental theology is essentually, the foundation of our house - what we believe or know. Our fundamental theology is united with the House of the Lord.
- The Nature of God
- The full nature of God is unknown
- The face of the Father is unknown
- God is the Holy Trinity (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit) Indivisible and of one essence
- The Holy Trinity is One God, (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) simultaniously
- God is the creater of all and is without place or time.
- Yet, the Lord Jesus Christ (the Son of God) was incarnate through a woman named Mary, and Who is now called Panagia (All Holy). and/or Theotokos (Mother of God).
- Our Relationship
- The House of the Lord, is the House of God - inwhich many Houses (of the saints) reside.
- The House of the Lord began with the Houses of the Apostoles.
- Through Christ we are born, through baptism, into the Family of God
- Saints are part of The Family (as are we), whose House resides in the House of the Lord.
- As such, icons are viewed as pictures of the the Family and Its History.
- In the House of a Saint (a Memeber of the Family), we are born into the Family.
- While, the Church is the body of Christ, the church is not.
- The church is a house in the House of a Family Member (who resides in the House of the Lord). For example, the church of St. Nektarios in Toronto is a house, of the people, in the House of St. Nektarios. As is St. Nektarios in Seattle also a house in the House of St. Nektarios.
- Our house, becomes a House, after death.
- The House's of the Saints (Our Fathers and Mothers, in the House of the Lord) is where our houses resides. For example, my house (soul) dwells in the House of St. Nektarios.
- We are all given free will - to love God (as Father). This is a choice and not mandated. We decide what our relationship (family, estranged, divorced, friend, enemy, or none) with God will be.
- Those who are not born into the Family are not members of the Family.
- Relationships do exist outside the Family (because God's love is infinite, as is His mercy); citizen (God Almighty); friend; servant (The Prodigal Son), aquatience, no relationship (atheist), enemy, others not known.
